Gallup: Hillary Remains Front-runner

Filed under: Politics — Grendel @ 9:14 pm

Buried in the Imus imbroglio is the latest Gallup poll released yesterday that shows Sen. Hillary Clinton remains the dominant presidential front-runner among Democrats nationally, with twice the support as her nearest challenger.

hill The survey, collected April 2-5, suggests that while Obama may have had a great deal of financial momentum in the past quarter, it was not matched by any increase in voter support. What’s interesting is the trend for Obama has been relatively static, ie, Obama gets exactly half of the vote given to Clinton, while former senator John Edwards has held his own during this time.

After the jump, the trends chart.
